- Animal Data: Photos, names, and notes you upload in "My Animals".
- Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, and analytics.
- Payments: We do not store card details; processed securely by third parties if applicable.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use it to:
- Provide and improve services (accounts, animal registration, birth certificates, event tracking).
- Manage school fundraisers, Zoo-a-thons, and event participation (including importing contacts for invitations or participant coordination where you authorize it).
- Send necessary communications (notifications, resets, updates).
- Comply with legal requirements and prevent fraud.
- Analyze trends to enhance the experience.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell personal information. Sharing occurs only:
- With schools/event partners needed to deliver services.
- With trusted providers (hosting, email, analytics) under confidentiality agreements.
- With Google, only as necessary for authentication and the authorized API features (e.g., importing contacts with your explicit consent).
- When required by law or to protect rights/safety.
- In business transfers (merger, etc.) with notice where required.

Our services target schools, parents, and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Contact us immediately if you believe we have.

10. Google API Access (Including Contacts Import)
If you choose to connect your Google account and authorize access to import contacts (via the Google People API or related scopes), our Service requests limited access to your Google Contacts data.
- Data Accessed: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and other details from your Google Contacts that you have stored.
- Purpose: We use this data solely to enable features you request, such as importing contacts for Zoo-a-thon team invitations, school event participant lists, birthday party coordination, or similar event-related functionality within the Service. We do not use it for advertising, marketing to non-users, profiling, or any unrelated purposes.
- Limited Use: Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
Your use of data obtained via the product's specified scopes must comply with the below requirements. These requirements apply to the raw data obtained from the scopes and data aggregated, anonymized, or derived from them.
- Limit your use of data to providing or improving user-facing features that are prominent in the requesting application's user interface;
- Transfers of data are not allowed, except:
- To provide or improve your appropriate access or user-facing features that are visible and prominent in the requesting application's user interface and only with the user's consent;
- For security purposes (for example, investigating abuse);
- To comply with applicable laws; or,
- As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets of the developer after obtaining explicit prior consent from the user.
- Don't allow humans to read the data, unless:
- You first obtained the user's affirmative agreement to view specific messages, files, or other data, with the limited exception of use cases approved by Google under additional terms applicable to the Nest Device Access program;

- The data (including derivations) is aggregated and used for internal operations in accordance with applicable privacy and other jurisdictional legal requirements.
- Storage and Sharing: Imported contact data is stored securely only in your Zoo Crew Club account and only as long as needed to provide the requested features. We do not sell, rent, or share Google contact data with third parties except as described in Section 3 or when required by law/security.
- Deletion and Revocation: You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account settings. You can also request deletion of imported data via your account or by contacting us at support@zoocrewclub.com.
- No Additional Use: We will not use this data for any purpose not described here without updating this policy and obtaining your renewed consent.
